Green and Joe Mixon at Wednesday practice The Bengals may very well have A.J. Green when they face the Falcons in Week 4. In a surprising turn of events, Green was able to practice on Wednesday, just days after suffering what the team is calling a pelvis injury against the Panthers. Mixon was also seen at practice with his helmet but no pads. Both players eventually made it over to the rehab field and did not actually practice with the team.Tra Carson was also at practice (he’s currently on IR) and was on the rehab field, too. This comes after head coach Marvin Lewis told reporters that both players are progressing nicely and hinted that Green should play in Atlanta. Green’s injury was initially thought to be enough to keep him sidelined for a game, and while that still may be true, seeing him at Wednesday’s practice is a great sign that he’ll be fine in the long term. “A.J. will be fine. It was a little bit of an aggregation of an injury he had in college,” Lewis said on Wednesday of Green. “He’s seemed to come around quickly with the anti-inflammatories. We’re very fortunate with that. I didn’t know what he had injured — he was complaining about both sides (of his pelvis).”Lewis said Green’s hips (both of them) and shoulder were bothering him after he landed weirdly in the Panthers game.As for Mixon Trayveon Williams Jersey Mens , he’s recovering from minor knee surgery that was expected to sideline him for 2-4 weeks. He has expressed optimism that he could play this week, but while seeing him with his helmet Wednesday is nice, he probably needs to get in at least one padded session for the team to feel good about playing him in Atlanta. It’s much more likely he plays in Week 5 when the Bengals host the currently undefeated Dolphins.“Joe is doing great. I don’t know where he’ll be listed (on the injury report) this week (laughs), but we’re happy with his and Billy’s (Price) progress,” Lewis said on Wednesday. “We have a chance to have all hands on deck soon, which is exciting. Joe’s youth is playing a big part, and Billy’s youth is playing a big part (in their progress). We’ll keep the glass half-full and keep moving on.”
